God & Football!!

What if we treated God & His Word like we do football?

We'd be devoted to His team, our brothers and sisters in Christ.

We'd study it and talk to our friends and family about it.

We'd spread the news at school, work, and family gatherings.

We'd post it all over facebook because we feel so strongly about it.

We'd have it broadcasted nation-wide.

We'd plan other events around our time with God, never during it.

We'd get mad if anyone tried to take away our rights to be a part of it.

We'd teach our kids to be passionate about it.

We'd ask everyone we met "who they're for" and encourage them to be for God's team.

We'd encourage friends and coworkers to support the team.

We'd be quick to defend our team.

We'd stand our ground no matter how many times we got put down.

We'd bring our family closer together and become stronger if someone tried to destroy us or our values.

And we'd constantly strive to defeat our rival.
