You know those friends that even if you never seem them you know they are there.
The kind of friends that even if you haven't talked to them in a while they are the first one you call when something great or even sad happens in your life.
The kind of friends that even if you haven't seen them in months you pick right back up where you left off and spends hours catching up on life.......
Well I only have a few friends like that.....Zack Johns is one of them!!
I could call Zack right now and say "Hey buddy. I am in Kansas and I'm ready to come home but too tired to drive."....He would be finding the quickest route to pick me up! :) ....He might fuss on me a little when he got there but I know he would come fast!
Zack and I met at Camp War Eagle. We were in the same "group session" on the very first day and after that first hour we never left each other sides. I remember swapping cell numbers and before I would walk outside my door I would call Zack! He would meet me there and we would journey together on our next tour around campus!
We shared several classes together our first semester...including the dreaded 8am Music Appreciation.
Zack had to MAKE me come to class and let's just say he did WAY BETTER than me as far as grades at the end :)
WE both LOVE AUBURN FOOTBALL!!!
Meeting up on game day was always FUN!!
and lunches in the student center were a MUST...
Zack was always up for a good time with me so we attended may concerts and other exciting events in Auburn and beyond.....
We also celebrated many happy times!
One I will never forget was me getting accepted to
AUBURN SCHOOL OF NURSING!
We celebrated at Juliana Tokyo downtown!
He knows how FIRED UP I get about some football...
especially when Trey is playing...
However, he would still sit beside me and always tell me that he had the bail money ready if I ever got locked up at one of the games!!
He of course got way out of his element and attended ALL my wedding festivities..
and TODAY after many months of not seeing each other....
we picked up right where we left off....
enjoyed some Toomer's Coffee...
and caught each other up on our lives!
Zack has accomplished so much during his time at Auburn!!
I am so proud of him and honored to be one of his best friends!
I am thankful for our friendship and blessed to know such an awesome guy!
I can't wait to cheer him across the stage during his graduation coming up on May 6!

SO glad Auburn brought us together....
I can't wait to meet up years from now on The Plains
with our RVs for a little tailgating!! :)
