8 YEARS!!!!

May 21st has always been a special day for me because it is my BFFs BIRTHDAY...

SHOUT OUT TO CAITLIN!!!

(sorry but it was the most recent one I had of just me and you)

I hope you had an amazing birthday this year....I really need to see you and catch up!

MAY 21st BECAME EVEN MORE

 SPECIAL 8 YEARS AGO....

Love asked my parents permission to take me on our 

VERY FIRST DATE!!

I remember Leigh helping me get ready...

I wore a white American Eagle skirt...

a green tank top and green SPARKLE shoes! 

All of which are faded but still in my closet because

I will just never be able to get rid of that "oh so cute" outfit!

We drove Leigh's silver mustang that night 

and ate by candle light at Pizza Villa in LaGrange, GA.

Well...Zack ate. I sat there! 

My hands were shaking so back I couldn't even keep

the lettuce from my salad on my fork...

so eventually I just gave up and sat there.....

I have no idea what we talked about at dinner....

I just remember my heart beating so fast and

 feeling like I couldn't get a good breath! :)

Afterwards, we drove around the car lots and talked more....

It was the beginning of my happily ever after.....

time truly does FLY when you are having fun!!

My world became a lot more fun and special 8 years ago!

We have both changed a lot!

I EAT in front of him now 

some of time MORE than him!! 

LOL

I remember thinking back then 

that it wouldn't be possible for me to love him anymore

than I did in those moments...

However, each year I truly LOVE HIM MORE!!

We are no where near perfect 

and sometimes we would rather choke each other 

than look at each other but we are so in love.....

we are best friends.....

I am so thankful for him!!

I try to find every reason under the sun to celebrate

and do something special 

and

TAKE PICTURES.....

However, the night of May 21st this year...

I had a MAJOR melt down concerning school stress...

let's just say I am much better now :)

The first week was a little overwhelming and I guess

I was just due for a good cry.....

SO needless to say....

We enjoy the simple life....
