"WE OWNED THE NIGHT"

As far back as I can remember....every year on my birthday, Mammy took me to Six Flags. Well, after last years trip we decided that maybe we wanted to change up our tradition a little......

SO we SHOPPED. LOL.

We headed out early Friday morning the day before my birthday to Atlanta.

Mom got me some of the most precious outfits and jewelry. 

We then had an amazing dinner at Three Blind Mice.

We drank cute cocktails...

had seared scallops (with black eyed peas) 

filet migon and shrimp and grits....

GIRLFRIEND...good times.

The atmosphere was perfect on stuffed pillows with great music

but mostly sweet, beautiful company.

I then SANG the night away with none other than

LADY A, DARIUS RUCKER AND THOMPSON SQUARE...

while Mammy giggled herself to tears because I absolutely knew every word to every song.

We then traveled to a near-by Waffle House

where I recieved a free pie from the manager while the ENTIRE

place (workers & customers) SANG the BIRTHDAY SONG TO ME.

(of course I requested it)

but a BIRTHDAY PRINCESS deserves the whole Waffle House's attention at 2am right??

It was the most fun birthday to date.

Not only is Mammy a wonderful mother but she is my very best friend.

She knows me better than I know myself sometimes

and is always there for me no matter what...

if I could choose one person to spend my birthday with...

it would be her.

So thankful that God allowed us this special celebration together.

Thanks for lots of FUN Mammy....I love you.
