Samantha & Zack

Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him.Romans 12:1

Time changes things....

I will be the first to admit that I DO NOT handle change very well. I am what most people would consider an "emotional basket-case" especially when it comes to changing things in Princess Sam's little world!! However, the older I get the more I realize that God is SO IN CONTROL! No matter where we find ourselves in this life...HE IS THERE and IN CONTROL.
I am and always will be forever grateful for the "changes" He has allowed in my life.
Some have been hard and sad, while others fun and joyful....all of them however have made me who I am and who He is continuing to help me be.....
One change and one who continues to CHANGE everyday and bring SO MUCH HAPPINESS to her Honey's life is......BLAKELY.
One of my prayers for her is that she will come to know the Lord at a very early age, love Him with all her heart and feel His love and peace all of her days......

I can't believe how much she has grown and changed in just one year.
I am so thankful that I updated the blog every day on our beach trip this year. For one, I took a million pictures everyday so it would have taken me a year to upload them all if I would have waited until we returned home. Number two, since we have been home.....I have had ZERO time to do anything "fun" like blogging.

I am marking off the graduate school check list.
Next Friday, July 27th I will be able to say I survived my first semester of graduate school.
So between now in then I am STUCK in front of this computer but I HAD to take a break today especially after a "fun" weekend full of 16 hour shifts in the ER this weekend....we just won't go there.

I would like to ask a sweet favor of you all this week.
Please pray for my Granny.
She will be having major GI surgery this Friday.
We know that God is in control and are praying that He will give us peace and strength and that we will totally rely on Him in the coming days of preparing for surgery, the surgery itself and Granny's recovery.

I ask you to pray especially for her & my PaPa John, all those that will come into contact with her this week and Friday and all of us.
Thank you friends. Love you all.
