Samantha & Zack

Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him.Romans 12:1

1st Annual Cranio 5K

On Oct. 11 we held a very special event in Emmy's Honor!
I created a blog/Facebook event, a business PayPal account
and then God handled every other detail....
He through friends and family allowed us to raise over $9,000
to give to Cranio Care Bear Organization.
I am still in awe and it takes my breath away still to look at the pictures from that day!
It was special spending it with amazing friends and family!
We also were able to pray over Caiden Gadberry, our special Cranio friend that I met throughout this journey of the 5K!
I am one blessed Honey!!!
Thank you God for allowing us to share our story for YOUR GLORY!!
YOU LORD ARE WORTHY!!

WHY DO WE CARE ABOUT CRANIO KIDS???

Hello! My name is Samantha Baggett but these two girls call me "Honey"!
Blakely acts 13 years old
but is only too quickly approaching her 4th birthday in January 2015.
Emmy will be ONE YEAR OLD that same month!
These sisters stole my heart the day they were born....
Emmy and I have an extra special bond because I beat her
Mom & Dad to the hospital the morning she was born, stayed at the bedside
throughout the day and held her Mom's hand as she was welcomed into the world!
In the very first weeks of Emmy's life,
Leigh (her mom) felt that something wasn't quite right and God would not let her let it go.
God had placed me in the perfect position to help...
I was able to order the xrays Emmy needed and get a quick referral to Children's Hospital after her reports confirmed Craniosynostosis.
God just perfectly planned out every single detail.
On April 3, 2014
Matthew & Leigh with their family
clung tight to Jesus and were surrounded in prayer
by people from all over the world as they watched their
less than 2 month old infant go into an OR for surgery.
This was Emmy right before going back that day.....
This was a picture of her the day before her surgery.
Her PRAYER CHAIN from her CARE PACKAGE
from CRANIO CARE BEARS
is draped across her carrier.
It was one of the many blessings God sent our way during this scary season.
Thanks to Cranio Care Bears
we were able to relate to so many other babies around the world
and be prayed for by their families.
That's why we want to give back!!
Leigh had this great idea to have an "Annual 5K" so
our girls will grow up with a little reminder every year
of God's healing power and His faithfulness to our family.
We are excited about starting this little tradition.
We pray that is grows each year and is a blessing to so many
Cranio Kids around the world!
We also pray that it is a time that will
GLORIFY AND HONOR
OUR LORD AND SAVIOR
JESUS CHRIST.....
ALL TO HIM WE OWE!
THANK YOU FOR GIVING TO THIS WONDERFUL CAUSE
THAT IS VERY SPECIAL TO OUR FAMILY....
I AM A FOREVER GRATEFUL HONEY!
They will have no fear of bad news; their hearts are steadfast,
trusting in the LORD.–Psalm 112:7
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. –Philippians 4:6-7
For this child I prayed, and the LORD has granted me my petition that I made to him. –1 Samuel 1:27
In those days when you pray, I will listen. If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me. –Jeremiah 29:12-13
Sometimes the power of prayer is the power to carry on. It doesn’t change your circumstances, but it gives you strength to walk through the unknown. When you pray through, the burden is taken off of your shoulders and put on the shoulders or Him who carried the cross to Calvary.
–Mark Batterson, from “The Circle Maker”
Emmy has a pretty pink helmet that she will wear until she is at least one year old.
She wears it like a champ and never complains....
always laughing and smiling!!
She loves her "helmet breaks" and I know I am partial BUT....
is she not CUTE????

And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.
–Romans 8:28

And the event was amazing.......
