Our last regular season game. D1. USA. College football...gooybye

There will never be a collage big enough to capture the memories nor words to describe the emotions of the amazing years we have had watching our boy play passionately in this game. Today, we close this chapter. I began as Trey's water/ball girl during pee-wee at Cyrtis Lynch. Then proudly wore a Bulldogs uniform on his sidelines. Ending his high school career, I came home from Auburn every Thursday night to sleepover with him before wearing orange and blue under the Friday night lights. The past four years being a Jaguar have been indescribable. Traveling to amazing places but mostly making special forever friendships! It's football....yes. In the grand scheme of life it's little. Sometimes God uses those little things in life to teach us big lessons. We have had touchdowns and interceptions. We have started and we have been benched. I say we because we did this together. This sport has brought us all together at the end of every week. No matter what was going on in our individual lives...we met up on the sidelines as family. In the end, it hasn't matter about our stats or the scoreboard. What's mattered: who was standing there waiting to hug you as you came out of the tunnel, the lives you encouraged throughout the course of the game week and then mostly who you gave the Glory to! We give the Glory to JESUS Christ! My cup overflows and joyful tears surely flow as I thank God for all the seasons! I know he has big game plans for what is ahead!! Trey Fetner, we couldn't be more proud of you!! You my boy are our MVP forever and always. You have always given 110% with The Lord's strength and you have RAN THIS RACE!! You have finished strong!! I'm ready to cheer on the next sideline God has planned for you...we all are...we love you!!
