2nd Annual Care About Cranio 5K

I began promoting a very special event in JULY

God was in every detail of this event. We all gathered around The Pearson Family while my brother (who surprised me the morning of the race) lead the group in prayer. 

God provided through generous friends and family by blessing Ami & TJ with over $7,000!

FABULOUS FRIDAY FUNDRAISER KICKOFF!!! I'm so excited to announce that it's that time of year again! We had so much fun last year at "Care About Cranio 5K"! We hope all of you will join us again this year and new friends will join!! Same race, another amazing cause, fellowship with great friends and family all while giving God the glory! This year's theme is very special to us: "Emory Leigh is helmet free & praying for Mrs.Ami to be CANCER free!"
The first 3 people to register today can bring a friend to participate with them for FREE! Your friend will get a free tshirt and be able to participate in all race day events with you. I will announce the first 3 registrants at 9pm tonight!! SO DON'T WAIT-REGISTER NOW! Get ready for weekly reminders and surprises coming to this event!

Our 5K this year is still raising awareness for Craniosynostosis while helping a family that is dear to our hearts! Harper & Hattie hope you will help their Mommy's fight against cancer by participating or donating to the 2nd Annual Care About Cranio 5K! 

Don't forget to wear a SMILE to the 2nd Annual Care About Cranio 5K! Mrs. Ellen Sims caught so many memories on her camera last year and has volunteered to be our official photographer again!! She will also be donating a couple of mugs for our raffle time that you are automatically included in when you register!!! 

Emmy's Aunt Ashlee donated 2 FREE kid trims & 2 FREE adult trims for our race raffle!! Everyone who registers automatically goes into the raffle drawing happening immediately following the 5K! So thankful for our ZB and many volunteers who block intersections, pick up participants and make the 5K fun!! My hubby is the best!! Getting ready for the 2nd Annual Care About Cranio 5K, on Saturday, October 10! Lots has changed since our inaugural run last year. Emmy is HELMET FREE, Caiden fought through another Cranio-surgery and both of these beauties are on the move!!!

One of the main reasons I ever wanted to annually organize this event was to remind Emmy of the many people ALL OVER THE WORLD that prayed for her and our family. I wanted every year for her to be able to remember The Lord's power of healing in her life. This event also gives us the opportunity to pray for others. Last year we circled around Caiden and his family before he endured his 2nd Cranio surgery. Tomorrow, Caiden has an important follow up appointment with his surgeons. Please pray that the swelling on his brain will go down and another surgery will not have to occur! Please also pray for this year's cause, The Pearson Family! Mrs.Ami is fighting cancer hard and feels the power of you prayers. Please pray for her strength and healing of her body as well as the medical providers taking care of her. Also remember the families of these two special people!
