MY GIRLS WERE GORGEOUS TOO....
THE EASTER BUNNY HOPPED ALL THE WAY TO THE FARM FOR MY TWO FAVORITE GUYS....
MY HOUSE WAS FILLED WITH SOME OF MY MOST FAVORITE PEOPLE....
IT WAS A VERY SPECIAL EASTER BECAUSE IT WAS MY FIRST IN MY FOREVER FARMHOUSE BUT ALSO BECAUSE MY STOVE IS NOT HOOKED UP YET SO GRANNY CATERED EVERYTHING. SUCH A SPECIAL MEMORY!!
I love nothing more than decorating a table and surrounding it with people I love. Overwhelmed that we have now officially celebrated our first 'holiday' in what we consider our 'forever farmhouse'. The Lord reminded me early Easter morning at sunrise that this is not my forever home. You can make anything a home. A dorm room, an attic above a coffee shop on a tiny island, a small rental house or a open floor plan farmhouse could be a 'home'. The structure doesn't matter. The hearts inside matter. What matters most is that those hearts know JESUS. We must not just know about Him but truly know Him through a personal, intimate relationship. Then and only then, our souls find rest that Heaven is truly our forever home. Thankful that He died for me and excited that HE LIVES so I can face tomorrow!! For now 'farm sweet farm' until "HOME SWEET HEAVEN"! Thank you JESUS!
