COOPER MATTHEW ALLEN

On Thursday September 8 at 1pm a baby boy stole another part of this Honey's heart! I had the honor of watching Cooper Matthew Allen enter this world. He weighs 6lb 1oz and stretches to 19in! Leigh & Matthew will never know the complete joy they have added to my life with their friendship and beautiful babies! Thank you Lord for your blessings on me!

The sisters arrived about an hour prior to delivery and were ready for their momma to

"get him out!!"

They brought gifts.....

A precious miracle......

Cooper hung out against his momma for over an hour

we all couldn't get over that head full of dark hair......

oh how overjoyed they were to meet their baby brother....

they both smiles and oooohhhhhed and aaahhhhed

Emmy said "can we take him home?"

and per her request, that her parents granted....

She held her baby brother first, right after her mommy, before her daddy........

This is one aspect of the whole day that brings me to tears every time!! My girls get to experience one of the greatest loves I've ever known-being a big sister to a baby brother. What a pure bond from The Lord!! I pray they always take on the responsibility of loving and cheering him on with as much excitement as they had today!! So thankful I got to bring home my BFF in 1992.

and then Emmy had her turn that she sealed with many kisses

and then Daddy finally got to hold his boy for the first time.....

and then there were 5!!!

Honey got her maybe 5 minutes before heading to Wadley with the sisters.....

Selfie with the sweet love that made me Honey! I am so very proud of this big sister!!! She couldn't wait to be the first person to hold her baby brother! She has shown much excitement yet maturity throughout the last 24 hours. She's been a brave, kind and understanding helper! Her little take charge personality and that "first born instinct" tugs at my heart strings as I can relate!!! She embraced me with a long gentle hug about an hour after Cooper was born that released the cry that my adrenaline had held back all day. She's always had that way with me. I'm thankful for our special bond and the way she models how to love a Honey well.

Sherry Kay visited later that night and caught some sweet smiles!!!

THE GIRLS WENT TO THE FARM WITH ME FOR THE NIGHT....

WE RODE THE RANGER WHILE COOPER GOT HIS FIRST BATH!

THEN WE HEADED BACK EARLY THE NEXT MORNING TO SEE HIM....

HE GOT TO COME TO WADLEY ON SATURDAY, SEPT 10!

HIS FIRST BATH AT HOME WAS GIVEN BY HIS DADDY!

I VISITED.....

AND FOUGHT FOR A TURN AT HIM.....

THE GIRLS LOVE THEIR UNCLE T!

I THINK MATTHEW MAY HAVE FINALLY MADE ONE THAT LOOKS LIKE HIM!

I PROMISED B I WOULD MAKE HER A "SHOW OFF" ALBUM FOR HER KINDERGARTEN CLASS......OF COURSE EMMY NEEDED ONE TOO!
