After a full day of family time, 5 different houses, 5 meals, and a lot of presents.....we made it back home and started unloading the car. It had been a wonderful day and I was feeling overwhelmed with blessings and really thought I was going to be a big girl this year........well.......not long after we were home the tears started flowing. Zack hugged me and said very concerned "What's wrong?? Why are you so upset???"
I replied...."I'm sorry but it just feels really weird not being with my Mama and Daddy on Christmas."
and my sweet hubby just sweetly said "Well pack your stuff. We are going to Woodland."
So we did! We headed to my parents house at 11:30 Christmas Eve night. It meant so much to me for Zack to be so understanding. My parents were thrilled to see us!! Zack, Trey and I piled up in Trey's room and woke up to SANTA's gifts!!!!!
