Samantha & Zack

Samantha & Zack

Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him.Romans 12:1

Decking the Halls

and every other inch of the house as Love would say......
I began out Christmas decorating a week ago by pulling out every dish we own out of our cabinets....
my main goal was to swap out the everyday china for the Christmas china but my whole tiny project turned into a re-organization disaster that we lived through for a few days while I worked and tried to clean off and on!
Zack said at one point ,"Don't you think we have too much stuff?"
I quickly responded,"No! We don't have enough cabinet space!"

However, he made up for his statement completely this past Sunday by staying with me all day and decorating our house for Christmas!
It was such a fun and much needed day!! We loved it being just us and mostly I loved him being with me while I decorated for my most favorite time of the year!

While looking back over my blog from last year I realized I had a post from the weekend we began working on our first house! We have done SO much since that weekend!! I took some photos of all of our decor and any other updates I haven't shared with the blog world!
Our dining room table is set with Mandy Bagwell's Simply Chirstmas
and my Daddy refinished the beautiful pie safe in the background
which belonged to Granny Hollon Bailey from 5 generations ago....
my china cabinet that Daddy and I also purchased together is full of my favorite
Christmas dishes!

The front of the house is complete with white sparkling ribbon and the side walk
is lit with candles for Santa!

The snowmen hallway...

Our room and "my Christmas present"...the elliptical!!

The laundry room was one room
we completely remodeled and I LOVE it now!!

Even Maggie has her porcelain Christmas china and red/white placemat!

I bought our stockings for this year while I was in Texas!

Our Country Boot "Charlie Brown" Christmas tree....
