The Pearson's have been our friends as long as I can remember.
We all dated together, heck, this group even took me on my high school Senior trip.
So needless to say we have all loved each other through some "wild times"!
I woke up last Saturday to what I wanted to be a bad dream.....
Ami had sent an email explaining what had been going on in their life for the past couple of weeks...
Ami and TJ Pearson have been married for 4 years, live in Auburn, and have a beautiful little girl named Harper. On December 23, Ami went to see her ENT for a routine post-op checkup after sinus surgery. The doctor found a small spot in her nose that was cancer. At this point, Ami was only 29 weeks pregnant with Hattie Jane, and wanted to confirm the diagnosis before putting the baby through any stress. While waiting for the test results to come back from UAB, Ami's eye started to swell. Her and TJ came back to UAB on January 10th, to find out what was going on with her eye. The doctors discovered a rapid-growing tumor on the left side of her face. Currently Ami was at 32 weeks, and the doctors were trying to get Miss Hattie Jayne out safely and begin chemo therapy right away.
We all began praying...prayer chains on Facebook began, Ami's sister started a Facebook community and even a donation site that raised over $1,000 in 24 hours!

"A friend loves at all times..." Proverbs 17:17 I am beyond thankful for this group! Not only do we get to share happy times like weddings, babies and birthdays but also pray for each other during struggles! Thank you all for interceding on behalf of our friends, The Pearson Family! We are excited about adding Hattie Jane to our precious group today! Please continue to pray...the past two prayers hours were so powerful! Ami feels our prayers and is grateful!! Thank you all!

"Children are a gift from the LORD; they are a reward from him." Psalm 127:3~
