Samantha & Zack

Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him.Romans 12:1

Bye Bye Pappy!!

Friday was a monumental day at the Allen house!
Blakely mailed all her pappy to the children at Abana's Hope in Africa!!
She was so excited to be helping the "babies" of Africa.
It makes my heart happy to see her being such a sweet, giving big girl!
She has a BIG personality but the precious heart of hers is just as BIG!

So of course I felt like the girl needed a "prize" for her sweetness...
that's what Honey's are for anyway!!
She wanted to go to every store in Wadley.
So that means ALL 3! :)
We went to Dollar General first.
When I pulled in the parking lot...my little backseat driver said
"Don't hit any of these other cars now Honey"
Then as we walked in the store she said
"Come on this way Honey. This is the toy aisle."
(I don't know where in the world this bossy ability came from!!!)
She picked out a slip-N-slide and stickers at the DG.
Thrifty Lizard was our next stop.
I found one cute little dress but I told her I wasn't sure if she could wear..
she quickly said "Let me see Honey" while holding the dress up to her body.
Then said "no it's not going to work."
"They really only have stuff for big girls in here don't they"
SO, we headed to Stephen's Station next where the decisions were tough
but we ended up with a bug juice and a push pop!

The fun didn't end there!
B and her sweet Mommy headed to Columbus for Princesses on Ice!
Leigh said the excited expressions from Blakely were worth more than any price!!

She didn't ask for her pappy on the ride home!

and we were excited to hear Saturday morning that
SHE SLEPT THROUH THE WHOLE NIGHT WITHOUT IT!
Leigh said she asked her if she thought her "pappy had made it to Africa yet?"
