Mammy gave Love and I tickets to George's last tour for Christmas...
we have been counting down the days to go out with our boots on....
We enjoyed hanging out together
and even met up with some FUN friends!
George was phenomenal
and oh so GORGEOUS!
He opened up with "The Fireman"
and any of you who know me know that since
about the age of ummm well like 12
I have had an obsession with firefighters
(it could or could not have had to do with Love wearing the uniform for a few years)
So yeah, The King of Country singing that song...
my heart melted!
He was so sweet the whole time giving so much thanks and tribute to his fans!
I just think he is so humble and GORGEOUS!
My Maw-Maw Caldwell said this once before
(she actually said it about Alan Jackson)
but I SO thought it several times throughout the concert
"I wish I could wipe the sweat off his brow for him"!
I'm certain it was due to all the lights
that he didn't spot me out of the crowd and carry me back to Texas!
However, of all the cowboys there....
I did have a blast with my favorite one
and was so thankful to get back to Home Sweet Wadley with him!
Maw-Maw & Paw-Paw Baggett have NOT stayed out that late
in a LONG time....
needless to say, today was a struggle
and we spent our Sunday afternoons in our matching recliners
and Love said I snored!
Oh well!!
WORTH IT ;)
