Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him.Romans 12:1

Playing Paula....

Yes....Paula Dean that is!! haha
This is a little bit of me "tooting my own horn" but I'm just so proud!
After a LONG week in Auburn, I decided to come to Wadley last night!
I crossed the river bridge about 5:45......I went to the grocery store, then put on one of the cute aprons I got from my monogram shower, and started whipping up a "good ol" southern meal for me and Love!
My menu included fried pork chops, mash potatoes and gravy, turnip greens, mac n cheese, crescent rolls, and of course sweet tea!!! It all turned out great and was all ready at the same time!!! Love walked in the door with yellow daffodils from down at the farm.....they were a perfect center piece in my new vase(also from the Monogram Shower)! It was so pretty I wanted to take a picture!! :)
Love was pretty impressed...he even went back for plate #2!
Paula would have been proud....I might have to show her a thing or two when we go to Savannah for the Bachelorette Weekend!! I will also be applying for wife of the year award come 2011!! haha.....
Now I am going to hit the books hard and then enjoy this sunshine
with the people I love the most in this sweet little Alabama town!!!
Hope you all have a wonderful Easter!!
Thank you Heavenly Father for your many blessings!!
Christ the Lord is risen to-day!
Angels rolled the stone away
From the tomb wherein He lay!
Little children, come and sing,
"Glory, glory to the King,
Christ the Lord of everything!"
1 Peter 1:3
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead...
Matthew 28:1-10

After the Sabbath, at dawn on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to look at the tomb. There was a violent earthquake, for an angel of the Lord came down from heaven and, going to the tomb, rolled back the stone and sat on it. His appearance was like lightning, and his clothes were white as snow. The guards were so afraid of him that they shook and became like dead men.
The angel said to the women, "Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. Then go quickly and tell his disciples: 'He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him.' Now I have told you."
So the women hurried away from the tomb, afraid yet filled with joy, and ran to tell his disciples. Suddenly Jesus met them. "Greetings," he said. They came to him, clasped his feet and worshiped him. Then Jesus said to them, "Do not be afraid. Go and tell my brothers to go to Galilee; there they will see me."
