My calling.....

I remember walking up the front stairs at Southern Union Community College in Wadley and praying..."God if it is meant for me to continue with this major, let me register easily for these classes but if it is not your will please don't let them allow me to take these classes now." This was the summer of my junior year in high school and a few weeks after that day I started a full load at SU in Opelika for the whole summer! God has directed my steps all the way from SU to Auburn. Nursing school has been the most challenging, humbling, rewarding experience of my life! I can't believe that I only have 2 more semester before I have my Bachelors in Nursing!!! I am so thankful that God lead me to where I am today......today by the way He showed me where I would be needed at least for the time being!!! Yes that's right....I found my calling!!! I LOVE labor and delivery and can see myself there for many years!!

Today I was able to be apart of my very first "real" delivery!!! I have learned that everyone doesn't want to talk "nursing talk" and it can become uncomfortable to some when you start talking about where babies come from so I will spare you all the details except that it is an amazing miracle from God!!!
 I can't wait to see what He has in store for me and where the road will lead this next year! I am so thankful that I can trust Him to put me exactly where I need to be!! Thank you Lord for your faithfulness and for making this such a fun and rewarding journey!!!
